Industrial Draftsperson

Description

As part of the development of our smart airport solutions, we are looking for an Industrial Draftsperson responsible for producing technical drawings and models of the equipment and systems developed by the company. You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and operational teams to ensure the quality and compliance of technical designs.

Responsibilities

Design and modeling

• Produce technical drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models of systems and equipment
• Prepare design and manufacturing documentation
• Update drawings according to technical developments in projects
• Ensure drawings comply with industrial and technical standards

Engineering team support

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers in developing solutions
• Participate in the design of new equipment or improvement of existing systems
• Integrate technical, operational, and safety constraints specific to airport environments

Technical documentation

• Prepare and maintain project-related technical documentation
• Contribute to the preparation of technical files for production, installation, or maintenance
• Ensure traceability of changes and drawing versions

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

• Provide regular reports to senior management
• Track project performance indicators (KPIs)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management 
methods and processes

Candidate Profile

Profile required

• 2–3 year degree (Associate/Bachelor level) in industrial design, mechanical engineering, industrial drafting, or equivalent

Experience

• Initial experience in a design office or industrial design preferred
• Experience in aeronautics, transport, industrial equipment, or complex systems is a plus

Required technical skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA or equivalent)
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and technical assemblies
• Knowledge of industrial standards and design methodologies
